East of Eden couple Park Hae Jin-Han Ji Hye will be award presenters for the KBS Drama Awards
Park Hae Jin and Han Ji Hye, who play a couple in the MBC drama East of Eden, will take on the task of presenting the Acting Excellence Award in the 2008 KBS Drama Awards, placing them in the spotlight.
Both have had the affinity of receiving the Excellence in a Daily Drama Award during the 2007 KBS Drama Awards. Park Hae Jin won the award based on his performance in As Much as Heaven and Earth, while Han Ji Hye won based on her performance in Likeable or Not. They are currently acting as a married couple in MBC's East of Eden.
Park Hae Jin said, "I guessed that we would be presenting an award together this year after taking home the same award last year, but I didn't think at that time that I would be acting together with Ji Hye. Now that we are able to act as a married couple in a drama, I find it very wondrous. Ji Hye has also won a nomination in the MBC Drama Awards Excellence Award Female category, I hope that she will have good results then."
The 2008 KBS Drama Awards will be held on the 31st of December at 9.50pm. On the other hand, Park Hae Jin and Han Ji Hye have also gained attention recently for their nominations in the Newcomer Award (Male) and the Excellence Award (Female) categories for the MBC Drama Awards respectively.
